flip photos horizontal

Is there any way to flip photos horizontally? I received a bunch of old film scans and many were scanned incorrectly....

I guess you mean they have been scanned "mirrored".  In this case you are out of luck; PM (currently) doesn't support this, only rotations.
You could also use another program to do this though.  For instance, Nikon Capture NX and Photoshop both support flipping of images.

If you use Windows I suggest www.irfanview.comIrfanView since it is a really fast and simple image viewing utility with only the very basic image editing features. Since those include 90 degree hard rotations, hard flipping vertical and horizontal and hard crops (hard meaning you are able to save the changes made).

Id like to have IrfanVIews "lossless rotation" in PM, also.

Currently the rotation in PM is not applyd to the image file.

There already is a lossless rotation tool in PM.  It works for JPEGs only however.  Use the "Apply Rotation to JPEGs..." on the Tools menu.

Since IrfanView is a small yet wery useful and QUICK program, I prefer to use it together with PM. Specially using two monitors it can be very handy to open an image (for example from one person, building, etc) I am looking for similars. On one monitor I have this image inf full screen or even a part of it enlarged in full screen as a reminder, and can use all sorts of PM functions to select, tag, caption, rate, etc those images made of the same subject. And it has the flipping function missed earlier.
