Modified the mlb-all.txt (new file is mlb-all-latest.txt) to include the following changes, code-replacement IS case-sensitive:

using lowercase letters will produce:

az41   Greg Aquino
az59   Jeff Bajenaru
az43   Miguel Batista
az36   Brian Bruney

using CAPITAL LETTERS will produce:

AZ41   Greg Aquino of the Arizona Diamondbacks
AZ59   Jeff Bajenaru of the Arizona Diamondbacks
AZ43   Miguel Batista of the Arizona Diamondbacks
AZ36   Brian Bruney of the Arizona Diamondbacks

I've found this to be pretty useful, thought I'd share.

Regards,

-Jason

Does anyone know of a newer, more updated MLB code replacement file?
Thanks in advance,

Denny,

if you like, you can take advantage of a script i have which extracts the data real time from espn.com.  It will create the file two teams at a time.  The thought process is to not have one master file, but to create files as needed with minimal effort which should always be up to date.

the link to the script is:
