PM version string too long in OS X Finder
« on: November 30, 2007, 06:54:35 AM »
A minor nitpick.

The version string embedded in the PM executable is currently (as of 4.5.3b4) "Photo Mechanic version 4.5.3, Copyright 1997-2007 Camera Bits, Inc."

Unfortunately, the maximum width of the "Version" column in the OS X Finder (at least in Tiger, anyway) is constrained, so the text gets cut off -- potentially unreadably so, if the column is just the right (wrong) width. Example screenshot attached (40kb PNG).

Cheers,

/HJ

Thanks for the heads up.  I have corrected it for the next release.
