Delete/Remove IPTC Data

I'd like to completely remove the IPTC data from some images files... some JPGs and some NEFs.

I could open the IPTC Stationery Pad and re-apply empty/null data to the images.  Is there another/better way to remove the IPTC data from a batch of files?

That would clear out all of the fields, but it wouldn't cause those hunks of data to be omitted.  If all of your captioning was done with PM, then your RAW files could be reverted to their pre-captioned state with the "Revert TIFF-based RAW to original" command on the Tools menu.

JPEGs would just have to be cleared out.
