Is there a way to burn a CD without renaming the files?

Thanks in advance,
Robert

Robert,

As long as the filenames do not conflict, no renaming should occur when burning a CD or DVD.  Can you give me an example where the filenames you're burning to disc are being renamed?

Kirk,
When I try to burn a cd (crtl-B), I get a dialog box that asks me to enter a disc naming string. When I leave that option blank, the "Next" button grays out.

I wasn't able to copy to the dialog boxes to this post, so I added them in a Word document as an attachment.

Thanks,
Robert

That naming string is for the name of the disc itself.  It does not rename the files.  The disc should be given a name or you can't burn a disc.

HTH,
