Closing Photo Mechanic

Every time I go to close PM it does not respond and I have to use force quit. I have a MAC with the latest operating system and the latest version of PM. I have tried reinstalling PM. What am I doing wrong. I have 4 gig of RAM on my MAC Book pro with Intel chip.
