Extracting NEF files from NX2

Hello,
I'm new to this site, so apologies if this has already been discussed.
I use NX2 as my editor and PM as my browser.  I just "discovered" the ability to extract JPEGs from my NEF files instead of going onto NX2 and batch-converting a bunch of NEFs to JPEGs--a VERY slow process in NX2.
My question:  after I perform edits in NX2 and then extract the JPEGs using PM, does the JPEG reflect my NX2 edits?  Or are the extracts "as shot"?
My PM version is 4.5.3.2.

The extracted JPEGs will indeed reflect the Capture NX2 edits.
