How to delete the folders in my favorites list

How do I delete the folders in my favorites window. I'm on a mac.

Right-click (or Ctrl-click if you have a one-button mouse) on the Favorite you wish to remove and contextual menu will appear.  Choose 'Remove' to remove it.
