Easy Way to move Large numbers of images?
« on: July 12, 2006, 08:38:04 AM »
Somehow last night I ended up transferring two copies of every image to a directory.  For example: I have 2006.07.08.001 and 2006.07.08.001A six hundred times.

Is there an easy way to isolate and select all images bearing an "A" in the filename and moving them to another drive, which I'd like to do.  I think this is somewhat basic, but appreciate any help.

Use the Find command and find in filenames only.  It will select all images that match your search.
