loupe not working properly in OS X 10.5.6
« on: March 12, 2009, 01:08:40 AM »
Whenever I click on a thumbnail to magnify it, the enlarged image keeps flashing behind the silhouettes of the thumbnails. Could it be a driver problem/conflict with my graphics card (Nvidia 8800GT), a bug in PM, or something I'm doing wrong? I did a search on the forum but did not find anyone else mentioning such a problem.

In looking into the preferences, I noticed that the cache was set to 4096 (maybe from 4.5.x?) when the max is 1024. I entered 1024 and clicked OK. Now the loupe is working as it should. Did version 4.5.x for OS X support more cache? I don't recall the max being 1024 before.

No, the max was always 1024 but there was no warning text before.
