Losing Stars
« on: March 17, 2009, 07:47:35 AM »
Kirk,
Having a minor issue on PM 4.6. My Star designation defaults back to no stars when I edit the IPTC Keywords info on an image in a contact sheet. If I simply open the the IPTC & hit ok, the stars remain. If I modify the keywords, the stars default to no stars.
Mac OS 10.5.6
4G RAM
PM 4.6
Cheers, Joe Mac

Please get the 4.6.1 beta available in the Announcements section of the forums.  It should solve this problem.  Please write back to confirm.

I had a somewhat similar issue.  I'm using PM 4.6 and it lost all the image star ratings after I closed the application and opened the images in View NX.  I had the problem occur twice - each time after rating about 400 images.  I'm new with the program, and it certainly may be user error - but I don't know of any added way to save the images.  I am working iwth Nikon D300 NEF images.

Is this a common issue that should be resolved in 4.6.1?  If so I'll try the beta version of 4.6.1.

Thanks

Eric
