copyright date capture for metadata?
« on: April 04, 2009, 08:27:06 PM »
To have PM in the metadata section automatically record © Iain D. Williams, All Rights Reserved, with a date the image was taken after the  ©, so it reads  © 2007 Iain D. Williams, All Rights Reserved.

How do you get PM to pick up the date the image was taken??  The date comes from the image.

I can get  © Iain D. Williams, All Rights Reserved, that part is easy.  But, I can't figure out how have PM metadata form pick up the date of image capture.

THANK YOU

So you want PM to automatically include the year the picture was taken in the copyright info?

This is actually quite straightforward. Simply use the following text:
© {year} Ian D. Williams, All Rights Reserved.

Upon use, {year} will expand to the year the picture was taken in.

Hope this helps,
