I name my image folders with the date in the format YYYY-MM-DD, then a key word that identifies the shoot. So a typical folder name would be...
2009-06-09_trinette
Of course the fatal flaw in this naming convention is that the most recent folders (and therefore the ones I am always working on in PM) are sorted to the bottom of the list.
So, my feature reqest that we have a way to sort the navigator pane in decending order
