Sorting files by sound
« on: June 19, 2009, 05:36:46 AM »
Is there any way to have the files with sound attached to come first rather than last when I sort by {sound}? It's not a huge issue but it would save some scrolling with big folders.

Thanks,

Marketa

Marketa,

Try moving {sound} from the Primary sort field (leaving it blank) to the Secondary sort field and then set the 'reverse secondary' checkbox.

I tried it your suggestion but it does not work - does not sort the files with sound at all. Maybe something has to be in the primary box, but I can't figure out what.

Thanks,

Have you already tried entering a literal text in the primary sort field (e.g, just the letter X). Works for me  :)

Putting a letter in the primary box did it. Thank you very much.
