We tried erased it from my laptop Mac OSX 10.4.11
downloaded again without an luck
it still will not open
will not open with the OPEN drop down box either
I am also unable to obtain a Demo that will download
I am panicked
leaving town 4AM cannot finish project without Photo Mechanic.
I spoke with the technician that you contacted about this issue. From his description and the two crash logs you filed, it looks like your hard drive may be going bad. Photo Mechanic isn't getting its code executed and the system is completely failing to launch the application. I would expect that there are few applications on your system at this point that can be launched successfully.
Getting a new hard drive and reinstalling the OS would be the best step for you at this point. If you don't have a recent backup of your computer at this time, please stop using it before more files are lost. If you have AppleCare on your system, take your computer to an Apple Store and send it in for repair. Apple should give you a new hard drive with the OS already installed on it. They will keep your current hard drive in this case so hopefully you have a backup already.
