Transfering keywords ???
« on: December 08, 2009, 12:11:51 AM »
Howdy Howdy,

Is it possible to transfer info in the keyword field from a set of jpgs to a set of dng files of the exact name?  I apparently key-worded  600 jpgs and I should have worked on the raw?

Thanks for any advice.

I don't know at the moment (and I'm in the middle of this Snow Leopard slow Ingest issue so I can't check), but if PM will join a DNG and a JPEG as a single thumbnail (when in RAW+JPEG mode) then you should be able to use the Update IPTC/XMP command on the Tools menu to read the metadata from the JPEG and apply it to the DNG file.

Otherwise there is no batch way to do what you're wanting to do.
