Grayscale Display Command
« on: December 28, 2009, 03:28:40 PM »
After working on a color project for the last five years I am returning to my roots as a black and white photographer, but this time using digital capture.  Therefore it would be great to have a command in PM that would allow an entire folder of images, as well as the individual previews, to be displayed in grayscale.  I shoot RAW files and use PM as my first stage editing and sorting browser (still the best and fastest one out there).  After deleting an average of 70 percent of my original exposures, I rename and re-sequence them in PM, move them to another hard drive, and then import them into Lightroom for image editing.  Files selected for printing are then exported from LR as PSD files and further edited in PhotoShop.

I also use PM for presenting slide lectures, preferring it to several other commonly used programs for that purpose.
