Consant width
« on: April 27, 2010, 09:30:11 AM »
Ok, I searched but maybe my search mojo was off a bit...

I am running Photo Mechanic version 4.6.2.1 and I run Mac OS X 10.5.8 on my Intel-based Mac.

I need to FTP all photos so that a constant width of 605 pixels is maintained at 72 dpi. Height can vary, but width must stay 605. Is it just me
or am I finding this harder to do than I thought. I don't want to leave PM to do it in PS...

There is no way to do that in the Uploader.  You can only fit to a box, but the maximum dimension will be fit to the box, so your width will vary.

You can use the Save As dialog with Scaling set to custom width/height, and set the width to 605 and the height to 0 (zero) and that will do what you want.  Then you could Upload the saved images.
