iptc field copyright not in aperture 3

hello
I use macbook with snow leopard, aperture 3, pm latest version

I fill iptc fields in PM. this works fine.
then I import images into aperture 3.
the only field which is not imported to aperture 3 is the copyright field. all other fields are perfect.
so when I export from aperture the jpg files I have to remember the fill in the copyright field with PM before sending the images to the newspapers.
extra work. sometimes in a hurry I miss this.

please check if it is a bug of PM or aperture 3.

We don't have Aperture 3.  Try using a different application like Photoshop or ExifTool to check to see if the copyright field has the value you expect.  If it does, then the problem is with Aperture 3.

Could this be an XMP versus IPTC problem (e.g., aperture ignoring XMP but reading IPTC)?

What copyright field are you using?
