How to open the Enclosing Folder of a photo in PM ?
« on: July 23, 2010, 12:58:42 AM »
Hi,

I am new to Photo Mechanic and I want to know how to open the enclosing folder of a photo after I do a search. Because I want to go quick to that photo's folder to work with other pictures inside that folder. I will appreciate your help.

Thanks,
Luis

Open the enclosing folder in Photo Mechanic, the Finder, Windows Explorer?  You didn't mention which OS you run Photo Mechanic on, but I'll take a guess and say you're on the Mac.

You can right-click on a photo and choose 'Reveal in Finder' and its enclosing folder will be opened in the Finder and the photo will be selected.  From there you could drag the parent folder onto the Photo Mechanic icon to browse the folder.
