Opening dng in a pair with a jpg in global search results
« on: September 07, 2010, 09:25:35 PM »
When I do a global search for a set of files and I have both DNG and JPEG versions of an image, the filename text below the image indicates both but when I open in photoshop or reveal in finder, I can only open/see the JPEG and not the DNG. How do I view/open the dng? Thank you.

I am running Photo Mechanic version 4.6.5 and I run Mac OS X 10.6.4 on my Intel-based Mac.

From the View menu, un-check the 'Combined RAW+JPEG' menu item.  The DNG file and the JPEG file will now become separate thumbnails.  You should be able to show the DNG file in the Finder now.
