Openng screen freezes

Upgraded to 4.6.6 recently but now find that PM opening screen, with credits and my name etc, freezes and I get no further. Tried using Windows Safe mode and it works after a fashion but not very practical.

Using Windows 7 with 6 Gb memory, plenty of drive space.

Any help would be appreciated.

Kirk, I live and work in Scotland and telephone support would be too expensive from my end. I cannot get PM beyond the start screen.

I suggest calling our support folks during normal business hours at 503-547-2888.  You would get much faster, more interactive results that way.

Same here on OS X 10.6.4 on brand new Mac Pro. Trashing the prefs helps.
