Problems with Panasonic LX5 RAW-files
« on: May 19, 2011, 01:00:31 PM »
Hi,

I suddenly started getting problems with my RW2-files taken with my LX5 and ingested with PM. They appear in Photo Mechanic but is not readable by Lightroom, Aperture or Media Pro 1. My RW2-files from Panasonic GF1 works fine. So does files manually copied from the memory card to the hard disk. I even tried ingest without renaming or adding IPTC, but it didn't solve the problem. I have also tried several different memory cards with the camera.

I'm running PM 4.6.7 latest public beta. I've downloaded the latest 4.6.6 non-beta and it works with this. Including adding IPTC and renaming. I'm also sure that the previous beta worked fine (the April 27th release).

Even though it works fine with 4.6.6 and you're fixing it in the next version, I'm wondering what the problem could be and what I can do to make the other RW2-files copied with PM 4.6.7 readable in Lightroom?

Thanks,
iau

Can you send me two files, one ingested by PM and one manually copied?  Please click on my name to the left of this message, then click on the 'personal message' link.  I will respond with upload instructions.

Thanks,
