The issue is that camera serial number {serialnum} and lens model {lenstype} show blank in PM for both DNGs (Adobe DNG Converter) and JPGs (PM's Extract Embedded JPGs) created from CR2 (Canon 5D II) for which this information is displays property in PM.
In the case of the DNG files, the info is still readily available from the expected XMP fields (according to exiftool), but does not show in PM. In the case of the JPGs, however, the information appears to be lost, perhaps a limitation of the JPG format? Using "Update IPTC/XMP" with a CR2+JPG pair does not update the JPG, and the fields are still empty in the image info panel.
