I wish changes colors without updating files.

I explain : I work with PM, when a photo is treated, I move it in a final arborescence ; here AtomicView manage a catalog.
This catalog is synchronised with my MacBookAir so I may work on any of my two computers.

Sometimes I look again my photos with PM, I put colors for cxposition’s choice, it is useful only for few days.
What is bad : xmp nef and jpg files are changed, and an unusefull synchronization is done.

What is possible for me ?

Nothing can be done.  Color Classes, Ratings, and tags are either stored in the images themselves or in XMP sidecars.
