Opening images into Lightroom

I import images into Lightroom by drag and dropping from the PM contact sheet onto the Lightroom icon in the dock.
If the PM contact sheet image is a 'raw+jpeg' and I drag the image, only the jpeg is selected in the Lightroom import dialog.
I only want the RAW.
Anyone have a solution or workaround?

Hi Marc!

Un-check the "combined view" under the View-Menu, do a "quick search" for RAW's extension and you are finished.

Actually there is a preference you can set. On the "Launching" tab you can specify whether to open the raw or the jpg of a raw+jpg pair. So there's no need to have them shown separately to be able to open the raw.

Quick test on OS X:

Drag & dropping a RAW+JPG thumbnail to PS results in BOTH files opening in PS. I have Launching preferences set to edit RAW file.

BTW, if you use keyboard shortcuts, holding Option key while pressing E will open the other file of the pair(i.e. JPEG if you have set in your preferences to open RAW files and vice versa I think)
