Close Preview & auto-switch to Ingest dialog when card inserted

Hi

Having just been on a massive shoot where I let other people interact with PM, which is one of the charms of the program, the one fly in the ointment (and for me too) is having to close the Preview page before inserting the CF card. If you don't do this, not only do you not get the Ingest Dialog, but additionally the card is not selected once you do bring it up manually.

This can be a pain. Any chance of getting PM to auto-close the Preview page & go straight to the Ingest Dialog !

I would love this improvement to the interface/workflow

While I haven't checked this specific workflow, I can tell you that the Preview window (in the upcoming PM5 version) is no longer modal and should not restrict the opening of modal dialogs like the Ingest dialog.
