PM5 shadows and highlights
« on: July 19, 2012, 07:24:56 AM »
Would it be possible to make the shadows and highlight selectors check boxes (or some form of toggle) instead of radio buttons? It would be faster turning them on and off when doing a quick check, rather than having to move the mouse to the off button.

Hi Mick!

You can use "B" and "N" keys under Windows and Mac to toggle.
"B" shows or hides the highlights
"N" shows or hides the shadows

After 5 years of absence I restarted the photography.

That's helpful, if I remember them. Shortcut keys for all my programs are hard to remember. Mouse clicks are consistent.

I'll try to get in the habit though.

The two modes are mutually exclusive and cannot be on at the same time.  Keeping them from being on at the same time can be accomplished in a couple of different ways.  One, with radio buttons the way it is currently implemented, two, with a popup menu that allows a single item to be selected at at time.

I'd say that the radio button implementation is the preferable of the two.

just a reminder of the shortcut keys would be enough. Could you add "(B)" or "(N)" after the respective control?

This would be useful, in general, for any PM command.

The tooltips that appear when you hover over a button/control should reveal the shortcuts.
