PM 5 is it final
« on: July 26, 2012, 08:32:37 AM »
Hello,

Is the B5 of PM5 final version? Do I have to buy it to use it from now on or will there be a new beta?

Cheers

A Release Candidate is coming today.

You'll still be able to demo it if you wish.  Though apparently if your last demo code expired then you can't currently get a new one.  We'll fix that.

Kirk,

Why does my current code not work with PM5 RC and I need to get an demo code?

In the past beta versions and new releases did always work with the current code while within the upgrade license window. What has changed now?

Of course, I purchased an upgrade August 9th last year under the impression that PM5 will be release withing the next few month (latest end of the 2011). Is it really so that I have to purchase another license now whenever the final PM5 version is released (whenever that may be) just because it got delayed again and again and again and I probably will be well past the 1 year since August 9th last year when it happens?

Confused right now (and not a happy camper in case the above is true).

Send me a personal message with your registration information and I'll decode it to see what is going on.  Certainly we are not expecting people to have to pay for an additional upgrade if they purchased an upgrade license within the last year.

Somehow it seems that PM5 did not install correct due to Norton Internet Security Suite  ??? ... I reinstalled it and just ignored the security warning (or rather I forced it to ignore it) ... and now it recognizes my registration code and starts correctly  ;D

Thanks,
Juerg
