Changing filetype
« on: August 20, 2012, 02:49:59 AM »
Hi,

Is it possible to change the filetype e.g from ".rw2" to ".RWL" by using variables?
So far I didn't find a solution ...

No.  You'd have to rename them outside of Photo Mechanic.  Why would you want to do that anyway?

Hi,

after changing to Mountain Lion (on the Mac), the files from the Panasonic LX are not readable for the system and software like CaptureOne or Photoshop or Aperture.
Up to Lion it was possible to do the trick with renaming the original "rw2" files to "RWL" by a small software called "Like a Leica" to make them readable in C1 or Aperture.
So I thought to do it the short way by renaming them files in PM ...

NB: by the way: what's about the catalog software?

Still working on it.
