What does the lock scrolling do? It is grayed out and can not be ticked on or off.

Romeo,

Put two images side by side or top and bottom and zoom in.  Align the images the way you want them and then turn on Lock Scrolling.  Now when you pan one image around, the other one pans around by the same amount, keeping them in sync.
