PM Classic Exporter template
« on: October 18, 2012, 12:43:54 PM »
Dear Kirk (or Brandon)

I have an issue with the newest PM Classic Exporter template.
For my clients I desperately need the ability to download the original files from the html page. In the "images" section of the older versions I could mark "Include a link beneath the image" (with "Link Name" and "Link URL") so PM could generate a link to the HighRes Photos.
This is now missing.

Secondly but lower urgency: The generated preview Pic is not centered but aligned to the left side of the browser window. Looks not as good as in older versions

Regards

I'm having the exact same issues on a Mac.

Is there some file we can copy from the old version that will restore the "include a link" functionality, and fix the non-centered preview image?

The Link functionality is critical for delivering original images to clients (Link URL: ../hirez/{filename})

Can you provide a screenshot of a "left aligned preview image." I'm not able to see this happening.

The download link will be re-added.

Hi Brandon,

dont know what you will more see on the screenshot than I described.
The pic is located on the left side of the browser window + the headline remains in the middle (see example)

The download link will be re-added.

You can see an example of the new behavior at  http://proof.michaelfryd.com/pmnew/pmnew.jpg

You can compare this to the old behavior at http://proof.michaelfryd.com/pmold/pmold.jpg

You can see the old generated html files at http://proof.michaelfryd.com/pmold/ and compare them to the new files at http://proof.michaelfryd.com/pmnew

note: the the old version includes the links to the high resolution version, but the high resolution files are not present.

Request: When you re-add the download link, it would be great if you could include an optional HTML link "target" field.  This would allow the linked file to always open in new window, or a specified separate window.

If you need a quick fix for the Preview Page then click on my name and Send PM

The download link has been re-added with the option to open it in a new tab.

I PM'd Brandon yesterday, but he hasn't managed to reply yet - not a problem.

But if someone else could send the 'quick fix' to reinstate the download link, I'd very much appreciate it.

Many thanks.

Cheers,
Tony
