RAW Images not displaying 1:1?

Hi, I have Windows 7 64 Ultimate, and Photo Mechanic 5 (13895). When I view RAW files with the zoom slider set at 1 they actually only show about a quarter of the size that they should. My camera has a JPEG + RAW mode and the JPEG images display correctly at 100% but just the RAW images don't. My camera is the Sony RX100. This issue is not present in LR.

My guess is that Sony does not embed a full res jpg in their raw files. On windows there's not much you can do about this, except convert your raw files to dng (and embed a full res preview). On a Mac you could opt to use the Mac OS X built-in raw interpreter, though this has its disadvantages too…

No, this is not possible; it would require PM to basically reverse engineer Lightroom which is not really doable (or allowed by Adobe I would say). The only option is going down the dng route

No, but perhaps you can adjust your camera's settings to tell it to produce a higher quality preview in its RAW settings?  Many cameras support different sized previews in their RAW files.
