Scroll Bar Color

I work in PhotoMechanic - latest version - on MacBook Pro 17 inch - Mac 10.6.8 - often in dimly lit arenas and gymnasiums.
The scroll bar and the scroll bar slider are the same dark gray color and I cannot see to grab it to scroll down the page.
Is there a way to change the color of the bar or slider?

No.  But why use the scroll bar anyway?  Use the "scroll gesture" on your trackpad instead.  The page up/down keys and arrow keys also scroll the contact sheet if you like to use the keyboard.

Talk about teaching an old dog a new trick. I was unaware of the trackpad gestures. Wow - that makes it simple!
