Limiting file size?

Hi,

I am trying to use the "Limit file size" in the "Save as" but I keep getting larger images than I want. It says "size" MB and I am trying to get 100 kb files (for web use). The images are 300-500 kb when exported. I use Lightroom for this and it produces the right file size.

What am I doing wrong?

Hilmar,

Set the quality to zero.  You're limiting Photo Mechanic's ability to make the image smaller by setting the quality to 80.  You may also need to set the checkbox "Subsample Chroma" as well since your desired size is very small.
