FTP and http proxy
« on: May 06, 2015, 08:39:14 AM »
I'm working in our office behind a http proxy which is necessary for ftp connections. In FileZilla I can put in a generic http proxy which works.
Is there a way to get PM ftp-uploads work behind such kind of proxy (on a Mac)?

Putting one in the Proxies section of the Network panel of the System Preferences should work fine.  Click on the "Advanced..." button in the Network panel to access the Proxies section.

That's what I have to put into FileZilla to work. In the System Preferences HTTP and HTTPs Proxy are in (I don't have to put in a FTP-Proxy there, as FTP connects via the HTTP Proxy).

In discussion with the team, we have determined that I was wrong.  PM's uploaders do not support proxies at this time.

Any chance in applying this feature soon? I'm trying to make PM standard at our (newspaper) desk  :)

It would be unlikely for such a feature to be implemented in PM5.
