Photo mechanic Stars and Color lablels in Lightroom
« on: May 17, 2015, 11:09:15 PM »
As it is probably discussed a lot, i've found a lot of content on this matter but not really answering my question. Maybe its even more a lightroom question than a PM question.
I've got a library of 24.000 images in Lightroom. What i would like to do is cull to the images in PM, while they are already imported in lightroom.

I then want to batch read metadata from file to get all ratings and color codes to Lightroom. For now it only seems to be possible per file.
Anyone got a good idea?

Bulk updates are very well possible in Lightroom. The way I do this is to right click on the folder I want updated, then choose synchronise folder. This will synchronise the metadata and any file removals/additions you may have performed.

Hope this helps,

Hi,
It is very easy to do that in LR as Hayo said. I only wished it was an automatic sync (you would set the time interval).
