Ingesting: raw to location 1; non-raw to location 2
« on: July 05, 2015, 06:51:04 PM »
I would like to have at least TWO savable ingest locations. One for RAW and one for NON-RAW locations.

Ingesting should then have 3 options:
  • Ingest RAW only to Location 1
  • Ingest non-RAW only to Location 2
  • Ingest both types to the respective target locations

Thanks for the suggestion. I can see where that could save some time. Note that you can do this currently if you run two separate ingests. You could use {type} in your folder name so that you would not need to change the ingest location for each ingest. Run one ingest to, say, {datesort}/{type}  and choose "Copy RAW photos only" and the files would go into 20150708/RAW run the same Ingest, but choose "Copy non-RAW Photos only"  and the files will Ingest to  20150708/JPEG.    The end result would take only a second or two longer than the feature you request.

I hope this helps you in the meantime.
