Transferring caption and ftp settings from an old laotop to new

Hi ,

This may seem like a simple question , but how do I transfer IPTC and FTP settings from an old mac book pro  to a new mac book pro and sync both to a office Mac?

I'm confused .... and cannot find this simple item anywhere . I have tried to save then load these settings , but this is not working .

What needs to be done ?
