Rotate photos

Is there a way to lossless rotate pictures permanently while downloading from cf card? Cause up to now my pictures are rotated in all photoprogramms, even in the finder view, but as soon as I upload them, they are not anymore.

What method do you use to upload the file, and do you upload the original file or have PM “save as JPG”?
Where do you upload to?

I'm sure the ingest is fine (your images show up fine in e.g. PM and finder), but what are your upload settings and where do you upload?

sorry for late reply, I was very busy. Meanwhile I understand, what upload means. I must say, this phenomenon occurs also, when I burn photos to a CD. But I will attach a screenshot of the upload-panel.

If you then "Save as JPEG" in the Upload, the resulting JPEGs will be hard-rotated to their soft-rotated orientation.  There should not be any software that would then misinterpret the desired orientation.
