FTP export keeps stalling

Hi

Recently im finding when i upload images to my smugmug site via Photo Mechanic FTP it keeps stalling, I often have to upload 1000 or more images and has been no problem the last few years but last few months it has started to do this. Its an issue as i cant now leave it uploading over night as it will do 50 or so images then stall and stop the upload until i click on the resend tab then it will be fine for another 50+ images then stall again..

im running a mac with IOS 10.85 and version 6 of PM..

any ideas ?

You're using the FTP upload template instead of the Smugmug upload template?  Please confirm.

i select the images i want to upload then click FTP as... then select smugmug from the drop down menu

Hi Harry, while I don't have a solution for your issue (other than the suggestion that this might be a problem on the smugmug end), I do have a workflow suggestion.

Instead of choosing “FTP as…”, choose “Upload…”, this will immediately get you into the smugmug uploader (more precisely, the last one used) instead of having to select it each time. You can also use the keyboard shortcut CTRL+CMD+U.

Thanks ill try that, didnt realise i could do that so should speed it up a bit too..

OK.  I'd like to see your log file.  Choose "Reveal Support Data..." from the Help menu in Photo Mechanic.  A zipped log file will be produced and the Finder will come forward to show it to you.  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your zipped log file.
