Unable to apply custom keyboard shortcut to PM Menu item via OS X

I am unable to apply a custom keyboard shortcut via System Preferences › Keyboard › Shortcuts
I am even typing the ellipsis properly ( … ) rather than three periods.

For some reason I cant turn this menu command into a shortcut, which is very annoying.
It should in my opinion, be a shortcut by default in the program because it is very useful, but I cant even add it myself.

Can anyone at Camera Bits help me out?

From what I can see, you've typed in the name incorrectly.  It should be:

Extract JPEG Previews from RAW photos...

In your screenshot, I can see the P and G not separated by an E.  You likely have it set as: Extract JPG Previews from RAW photos...

I tried assigning a keyboard shortcut and I see it active when I run PM5.

Thanks Keith, However The screenshot just has to display truncated because the menu item is so long and OS X wont allow the system pref window to resize.
I can assume you I have typed it out (in many attempts and differences as well) exactly as it is in the menubar of Photo Mechanic, with JPEG in it's full spelling.

Were you able to create a useable keyboard shortcut to extract a preview from a RAW?

Yes.  And it's Kirk, not Keith.

You still have the word JPEG misspelled.  You have it "JEPG" instead of "JPEG".  Give it another try.

Ha! Sorry for being such an idiot.
Kirk, my bad — and yes you are entirely correct on all fronts.

This makes a lot of sense, because I couldn't for the life of me figure it out, of course it was something stupid like that.
I normally am a bit more detail focused, but I messed up your name and mistyped JPEG — so my bad entirely.
In my defence, I have been very overworked this past week.

Well, Maybe I will reserve a bit of blame for Apple's awful static sized and text-truncating System Preferences window, which does make some things confusing or unclearly displayed.
