PTP support
« on: May 05, 2006, 08:23:51 AM »
Hello,

I am just trying out Photo Mechanic and I like it more than any other photo management software I've used (I've tried many). One thing that I don't seem to be able to find is Picture Transfer Protocol (PTP). I can easily ingest imges if I set my camera to mass storage, but not to PTP. Does Photo Mechanic support PTP? If not, are there plans to add support.

Thanks!

It does not yet support PTP, but we might add it so we can support tethered operation of PTP compatible cameras.

Thanks for your interest in Photo Mechanic,

Thanks for your answer! I have tried several photo management applications, and PM is simply outstanding. Speed, functionality, stability. I am really impressed.
