how to browse iPhone 7 plus photos on photo mechanic 5

I am new to Photo Mechanic and wish to download photos from my iPhone 7 plus.  The video I see from camera bits on you tube does not bet me to where I wish to be.  i.e. my iPhone does not show up as indicated in the video

Photo Mechanic does not browse or ingest from iPhones.  You would have to use Image Capture to copy the images from the phone to your computer first as illustrated in the video (if it is the one I think you're referring to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1gy6ZgVV5M)
