How to Auto Select Images in a Folder
« on: May 09, 2018, 04:18:48 PM »
I have a text file with a list of 70 image numbers, each separated by a comma, and I'd like to know how to use that list to automatically select those images out from a folder of a few hundred images.
I know how to use a list where each image number is on a separate line using EDIT>LOAD SELECTION in PhotoMechanic, but it doesn't work where each image number is separated by a comma.

Thanks in advance

You’ll have to edit the file and change the comma to a new line character. If you are on a Mac there are several command line tools to do this easily, but must text editors should be able to do the find and replace quite easily too.
