Changing colour class also changes resolution
« on: June 01, 2018, 01:09:01 AM »
I'm using Photo Mechanic Version 5.0, build 19395 (69a3200) on an iMAC High Sierra 10.13.4

All my photos are set for 300 ppi

When I change the colour class on any photo it changes the resolution from 300ppi to 200ppi . It does this consistently every single time.

Any help greatly appreciated :-)

See: http://wiki.camerabits.com/en/index.php/User_Manual_Flat_View#Files_Preferences

Add Photoshop resolution info to Camera JPEGs during IPTC update: Sets the default resolution for files created during Copy or IPTC Updates for other imaging applications which use a dpi value for sizing.

I suggest either setting the value to 300 or unchecking that checkbox.
