Photo Mechanic: Version 5 Build 19395
« on: March 29, 2018, 05:39:21 PM »
Hello Everyone,

We have a new updated build that solves a few issues present in the 19252 build.  Please see below for release notes.

Version 5.0 Build 19395

• Fixed an issue in Live Ingest where using the sequence variable in one destination while not using sequence in other destinations wouldn’t increment the sequence.
• Fixed an issue where Code Replacements aren’t evaluated properly.
• Relaxed criteria for loading malformed JPEG images.

• The Snapshot Name Dialog, on macOS 10.13, now sorts correctly.
• Photo Mechanic will no longer use the APFS filesystem workaround introduced in build 19252 when editing RAW files on macOS 10.13.4 or higher. Apple has fixed the APFS filesystem bug in macOS 10.13.4 which we reported to them. The slow APFS filesystem workaround that we implemented to deal with the bug in 10.13.0 through 10.13.3 will be in place for those macOS releases, but it won’t be used in 10.13.4 and higher. We urge all macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) users to upgrade to the 10.13.4 update as soon as possible.

• Short WAV files now produce sound when played.
• Fixed an issue where updating the creation time of an image would also modify the modification time of the image file.
