HELP!!! Won't erase source disk after ingest - PM6 (Build 2818)

Just updated PM6 to the latest build (Photo Mechanic Version 6.0, build 2818 (66ae7fc)  and I have erase source disk(s) after ingest checked, yet after ingesting, the memory card still contains the images I shot!!

Any ideas?

I'd like to see your Photo Mechanic log.  In Photo Mechanic go to the Help menu and choose "Reveal Support Data..." and moments later a Finder/Windows Explorer window will come forward with the zipped log file selected.  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your zipped PM log file.

work with my "old" Lexar CF card (on Canon 1DX MKII)... don't work with my Integral Ultima ProX CFAST 2.0

 all erase and format each time I used it with the camera...al the same when testing ...

Finished copying from volume "/Volumes/EOS_DIGITAL/".
Volume "/Volumes/EOS_DIGITAL/" has been unmounted and is safe to eject."

It is definitely better to format in-camera.  It's the only thing that guarantees you're starting out with a clean directory structure.  We only offer the feature because many users insist we do.  And Photo Mechanic is not formatting the card, it's just deleting the files that it processes.  The directory table is not clean like it is after an in-camera format.

Yes OK ! It's definitely the best way to avoid troubles...! I did it, I do it... for 13 years, NEVER had a problem !

BUT... erase fonction from PM (after ingest) works with my 1DX MKII and a CF Card, but doesn't work with the CFAST Card...!
So when I shoot soccer game, with 600/700 pictures at half time, it could be annoying to don't have the same, and lose some precious time !... If somedy has  a solution...

I agree with the above. Whilst its good to format card in camera, sometimes you just forget in the heat of the moment, and so having PM do it for you saves you the hassle!

Awaiting further news from Kirk et al about a possible soluition, after all it worked a-ok with PM5!
