Workflow: PM -> Nikon NX ->? PM
« on: April 07, 2007, 11:48:45 AM »
I open NEF files from PM into Nikon NX.  This is more of an NX question, but maybe somebody knows the answer - is there a way to save/exit NX and go right back into PM?

Thanks ...

Alt-Tab (Windows) or Command-Tab (Mac OS X) should switch you back.

I guess I should have mentioned - Alt Tab is what I use now.  However, I am looking for (I guess dreaming) that perhaps when doing a close (Ctrl W) in NX maybe there is a way to find yourself back in PM.  An example is CS2 and Bridge where you can go back and forth - great time saver on large jobs.

You could setup a quickeys (or use a similar program) macro to do this. You could create a macro that would close a window in NX the automatically switch you to PM.

Try this make NX your default editor in PM. When you open NX from PM, make your changes and close NX you will be back in PM. I never close PM to open NX. All my edit changes show up in PM instantly when I close NX.
