We are pleased to announce the third update to Photo Mechanic 6 for macOS and Windows. This new build of Photo Mechanic 6 addresses a number of issues present in the previous build.

https://www.camerabits.com/download/PM6SetupR3143.msiOn macOS, Photo Mechanic 6 requires Mac OS X 10.10 or higher If you are using a Mac with macOS 10.9.x or older, you will need to upgrade to macOS 10.10 or higher to use Photo Mechanic 6.
On Windows, Photo Mechanic 6, requires a 64-bit edition of Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10. If you are using Windows Vista, XP, NT, 2000, ME, 98 or 95, you will need to upgrade to Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10 in order to use Photo Mechanic 6.

macOS:
• Fixed: Dropping image/folder icons on Photo Mechanic dock icon is not opening contact sheet.
• Fixed: Ingest dialog not appearing when requested after mounting a camera card and PM6 is launched by an installed PMDiskLauncherHelper.
• Fixed: Favorites not expanding folders properly.
• We made some changes to help improve the Mojave Wide Gamut Retina Display performance issue. For users that have been experiencing this performance issue, we would greatly appreciate your feedback with this latest change.
Windows:
• Fixed: Shift-Up/Down arrow keys work in reverse for a range selection on the Contact Sheet.
• Fixed: View crop crashes in PM6.
• Fixed: AutoPlay launching PM when PM is already running produces error instead of performing ingest/open operation.
• Fixed: Navigator/Favorites doesn't see new folders that PM creates. User must refresh manually.
• Keyboard shortcuts related to right click menu in Navigator have been revamped.
• Updated Photo Mechanic installer to improve the user experience. In particular, managing of the optional third-party GStreamer install should be easier.
Both:
• Fixed: Crops on some RAW files not recognized, and sometimes not appearing in Contact Sheet after cropping in Photoshop ACR plugin.
• Fixed: Juicebox Exporter's default Pro settings don't work in gallery.
• Fixed: TIF displaying with reversed tones.
• Fixed: PMAutoplay.exe should be savvy to multiple installations of PM.
• Fixed: Add column browser to Zenfolio uploader.
• Fixed: Dropbox uploader existing file handling doesn't work as expected.
• Fixed: Box.com uploader not saving refresh token during upload.
• Fixed: Rare crash when updating certain metadata in JPEG files.
• Reverse Geocode Server now searches for multiple fields in order to populate the “City” field.
• Modified our logic for performing JPEG copy to help improve performance (yes, we are always looking to go even faster).
• Slide show Texture mapping improvements and simplifications.
• Default IPTC write encoding is now UTF-8.
